Sportsmetrics

Programs

Overall Description
Sportsmetrics is ideal for athletes of all ages, abilities, and sports.  Males and females alike will benefit from the explosiveness and injury prevent they will gain in Sportsmetrics.  We work on athletes in soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, football, cheerleading, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, track, swimming, wrestling, and many others.

CheckupSports Injury Testing
This is generally a pre-test to our Sportsmetrics Performance program but can be used by athletes, coaches, and parents to screen athletes for performance and injury potential.  The cost is included with a Sportsmetrics program as well as a post test to measure improvement.  The price to screen athletes or teams can be negotiated

We measure flexibility/range of motion, lateral quickness, single leg balance, vertical jump, 40 yard dash time, and single leg broad jump as physical indicators of performance and injury potential.  We also do video analysis of jumping and landing mechanics.

Performance Program
This training program is twice a week for one hour with 0-3 other athletes also using the Sportsmetrics technology.  The duration is 6 weeks with an additional pre test (Sports Injury Test) to customize the program and post test to measure improvement.  The program is approximately 14 total sessions over 6-7 weeks.  Click here for Training Details.

Return to Play
Part of our physical therapy office where will use the end of rehabilitation to train and test you to ensure you are physically ready to return to the field without fear of re-injury or pain.  We use high level training techniques to mimic sports motions and allow provide care above normal physical therapy techniques supervised by licensed physical therapists.
