Brian P. D’Orazio, DPT, MS, OCS

Brian D'OrazioBrian, the founding partner of OSPTA, is board certified in orthopedic physical therapy.  He specializes in the treatment of back and neck pain.  For over 25 years, Brian’s expertise has helped patients conquer chronic pain and return to a healthy lifestyle.  In addition to his clinical work, Brian has published two medical texts on the treatment of back pain, Back Pain Rehabilitation (1993) and The Low Back Pain Handbook (1998).  He has also served as president of BACKS, a national back pain research organization.

Brian received his Physical Therapy degree in 1978 from The State University of New York at Buffalo.  He received a Professional Master’s degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from VCU Medical College of Virginia in 1984.  In 2001, Brian became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.  He will complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from VCU Medical College of Virginia in 2006. 

Brian is a member of both the Private Practice and Orthopedic Specialty Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association.  He is also a past Political     Action Committee Chair and past Third Party Reimbursement Co-Chair of the Virginia Physical Therapy Association.

Brian is a member of the Rappahannock Rotary Club and Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church.  He and his wife Teresa live in Stafford County.
