Rachel Amidon, DPT, OCS

Since 2000, Dr. Amidon has been helping patients eliminate pain, overcome movement dysfunctions and achieve their personal rehabilitation goals. She specializes in the treatment of shoulder, neck, and facial joint pain.

Dr. Amidon received her undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science from East Carolina University in 1996, where she was co-captain of the Women’s Swim Team. She received her Physical Therapy degree from Old Dominion University in 2000. Dr. Amidon has continued to refine her orthopedic skills through post-graduate continuing education courses on the treatment of the lumbar, cervical and thoracic spine as well as the shoulder and knee joints. In 2006, she became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2007.

Rachel is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Virginia Physical Therapy Association. She and her family live in Fredericksburg.
