Physical Therapist Assistants

Becky DertingBecky Derting, PTA
Becky graduated from Virginia Tech in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. After taking a year off, she returned to school and graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant. She works with Brian D’Orazio, DPT, OCS with a concentration in back and neck pain and rehabilitation. Becky is a member of APTA and VPTA. She resides with her husband Jason in Spotsylvania County.

Kim HusarKim Husar, PTA
Kim graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at NVCC in 1999 and is currently licensed in Virginia. She joined OSPTA in 2001 and currently works with Ginger Houck, PT specializing in the treatment of hip and knee disorders. Kim continues to improve her skills with continuing education courses and has previously worked in long term care including those with neurological and orthopedic conditions. She is a member of the APTA and VPTA.

Nicole RaymondNicole Raymond, PTA
Nicole joined OSPTA in November of 2004. She is a graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at KVCC in Fairfield, Maine. Currently, she holds licensure in both Maine and Virginia, and has previous clinical experience working in long-term care. Nicole is a member of the APTA and VPTA. Aside from her clinical work with Barbara Ehman, PT, she has recently completed a continuing education course specializing in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders.

Talayeh WittTalayeh Witt, PTA
Talayeh is a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College in May 2005 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science for the Physical Therapist Assistant. She also graduated from Virginia Tech where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in May 2001. Talayeh lives in Stafford County and is a member of the APTA and VPTA.
