Is SPI Golf Fitness a gym?
No. You will have access to our full Gym facilities, but SPI Golf Fitness Program supplies the equipment, exercises and instruction needed to focus on golf specific exercises at home or in the gym. Large exercise balls, resistance tubing, medicine balls, and balance boards take the place of large machines and free weights.
What Equipment Do You Use?
While most of the equipment used at a SPI Golf Fitness Program is rather simple, the exercises are high tech and state-of-the-art in the golf fitness world. An exercise ball, rubber tubing, and a golfers' own body weight are the most common and allow you to easily do your exercises at your home or office. These items are provided with a full SPI Golf Fitness Program.
Will I Have Personalized Instruction?
Yes. SPI Golf Fitness Programs are designed so that you have one on one private sessions with your physical therapist who is a Golf Fitness Specialist. Dr. Kash Eagleton, physical therapist is the Director of the program and will perform the golf evaluation and treatment. He has interned under Dr. Paul Callaway, first Director of physical therapy on the PGA Tour.
Will I Swing a Golf Club in the SPI Golf Fitness Program?
Yes. During most of your sessions, you will be asked to perform many swings as part of your training program. We will video these swings with our V1 Digital Coaching Software designed for golf. We have an indoor hitting range with land based cameras and all new overhead camera angle for multiple views of your golf swing biomechanics.
Where is the SPI Golf Fitness Program located?
The local center is in Chatham Square Office Park in southern Stafford County very close to downtown Fredericksburg and the Butler Road YMCA. Call 540-374-9399 for more information.
Will a SPI Golf Fitness Program reduce my handicap?
SPI Golf Fitness Program Clients nationally average 4-6 strokes off their handicap over the course of their program. We have seen similar results locally.
Is Exercise a Part of the Program?
Absolutely. Your Golf Fitness Specialist will design a customized exercise program for you based on your needs, your body, and the goals you want to attain. It will be a safe, efficient, and golf specific program. All programs combine physical therapy procedures and customized exercise after the program evaluation.
What Results Will I See?

All are health care professionals who specialize in golf and sports medicine. Dr. Eagleton is the Director and will do most of the evaluation and treatment in your program.
